So here it goes..

So here it is the beginning of my new blog. I have been recently inspired to bring my creativity into this world, and I figured what better way than to do that then by creating a blog. For as long as I can remember I have always loved fashion; picking pieces and creating my own style. I have been enthralled by the many other well known bloggers like: Atlantic-Pacific, FashionToast, SincerelyJules & Sea of Shoes...just to name a few.  I  worked in retail for over 6 years, majority of that spent in fashion retail. Being surrounded by clothes all day long was very tempting, and the pieces always inspired me to create new outfits and ideas. I have since long moved on from retail, but fashion was and always will be my first love.

Maybe you want to know a little more about me, like maybe the nitty-gritty basics? Well OK then I will tell you. My name is Heather and I am twenty-eight years old. I do think I am beginning to realize what I truly what I want out of life, and I think that's kind of what prompted me to start this blog. I named this blog "Peachy Keen Girl", because naturally I am from the peach state. That is right I am from good ol' Georgia. I reside right outside Midtown Atlanta. I graduated with a degree in Marketing. I currently now work in the Advertising industry as a Media Buyer. Essentially I put the commercials for our clients on TV and Radio. You'd be extremely surprised the amount of work that goes on to get a 30 second spot on TV. I like what I do, it lets me explore a more creative outlet. I am passionate about it, and I do know one thing about life; you must always follow your passions. Beauty and makeup artistry are other big interests of mine, and I hope to share some tips and tricks on those with you all as well. :)
